Introduction
Patchouli oil, a Lamiaceae Pogostemon plant, is native to Philippines, Malaysia, India, etc. In China, it’s mainly in southern provinces like Guangdong, Hainan.
It likes warm, humid and sunny places, often growing on slopes, under forests or by roads.

Extraction Methods

Solvent Extraction:Use organic solvent to extract, remove solvent by distillation. High – purity but solvent residue may exist.
