Synthetic camphor is an organic compound made by chemical synthesis, similar in structure and properties to natural camphor.

Production Methods
Turpentine Method:
Take pinene in turpentine as main raw material, get camphene by isomerization.
Camphene undergoes hydration to form isoborneol, then dehydrogenation for synthetic camphor.
Isobutylene – Formaldehyde Method:
Use isobutylene and formaldehyde to form isoprene by condensation with a catalyst.
Isoprene synthesizes camphor through cyclization, oxidation and other reactions.
