1. Physical and chemical properties
Appearance and smell: Acorus tatarionwii Oil is light yellow to amber transparent liquid, clear texture, with spicy, woody aroma characteristics, slightly camphor-like cool feeling. Density and solubility: The density is about 0.95-1.02 g/cm³ (slightly heavier than water), soluble in ethanol, oil and chloroform, slightly soluble in water. Volatility: Medium to high volatility, strong aroma diffusion, but medium retention time (4-8 hours).
2. Main chemical composition
Baisfu Acorus tatarionwii Oil contains 80+ volatile components, the core active ingredients include: phenylpropanoids: β-asarether (30-50%, sedative, anticonvulsant). Alpha-asaryl ether (10-20%, antibacterial, repellent). Terpenes: caryophyllene (anti-inflammatory), olive (antioxidant), cineole (cooling). Others: eugenol (antibacterial), methyl isoeugenol (aroma modification), etc.
3. Stability and preservation Sensitive to light and heat: ultraviolet irradiation is easy to lead to oxidation and decomposition, need to avoid light, low temperature (<25℃) storage. Oxidation tendency: long-term exposure to air will gradually rancidity, need to be sealed with nitrogen storage.
4. Pharmacological properties
