1. Physical and chemical properties
Appearance and smell: Light yellow to light brown transparent liquid, with a clear texture, spicy,slightly bitter almond or grass notes.
Density and solubility: The density is about 0.88-0.95 g/cm³, soluble in ethanol, vegetable oil and organic solvents (such as ether), slightly soluble in water. Volatility: Medium volatility, strong aroma diffusion, fragrance retention time of about 3-6 hours.
2. Main chemical composition
The oil contains 40+ volatile components, the core active components include: terpenes: β-caryophyllene, α-pinene , limonene. Esters and phenols: bornyl acetate, eugenol.
