Pepper Essential Oil is a volatile aromatic substance extracted from the dried fruits of black pepper (Piper nigrum) by steam distillation or supercritical CO₂ extraction. It has a strong, warm and slightly spicy aroma and is one of the most widely used varieties of spice essential oils.

The chemical composition of black pepper essential oil is complex, mainly composed of terpene compounds, and the core ingredients include: monoterpenes (accounting for about 70%-85%), pinene (α-pinene, β-pinene), limonene, and sesquiterpenes.

Application areas
Food and beverage industry:
