The results showed that the main components were perillaldehyde (75.88%), limonene (3.82%), caryophyllene (9.87%) and β-farnesene (3.21%).

The main components of the flower were perillaldehyde (49.23%), caryophyllene (18.53%), β-farnesene (8.99%), linalool (11.3%) and curcumdione (4.55%).

There were 5 unique aroma components of Perilla leaf, which were D-limonene (3.82%), terpinol (0.4%), Perilla alcohol (2.08%), elemene (0.25%) and spartanol (0.18%).

There are two unique aroma components of Perilla flower: 1-hydroxymethyl-4-isoallylcyclohexane (1.43%) and curcumadione (4.55%).
