Intro
Glycyrrhizic acid potassium (DPG) is licorice (GlycyrrhizauralensisFisch.) the roots of leguminous plants extract, the active ingredient. Whitening mechanism Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate can inhibit the production of melanin. In the experimental study, the back skin of guinea pigs was selected. Under UVB irradiation, the skin pretreated with 0.5% dipotassium glycyrrhizinate had a higher white coefficient (L value) than that of the control group, and the combined effect was significant. The results of Chemicalbook showed that dipotassium glycyrrhizinate has a significant inhibitory effect on melanin production, which can be used to prevent skin pigmentation and melanin production after sun exposure, and is a potential skin whitening agent. Identification test is equivalent to “02353, potassium glycyrrhizinate”.
