Introduction

Eucalyptus oil, aka cajeputol & cineole, is extracted from eucalyptus leaves & twigs.
Its main component is eucalyptol (1,8 – eucalyptol), about 70% – 90%.
It also contains terpenoids like pinene, plus some alcohols, aldehydes & ketones.

Extraction Method

Usually extract eucalyptus oil from eucalyptus leaves by steam distillation.
Chop eucalyptus leaves and put them in a distillation pot.
Pass steam for distillation, vaporize oil with steam.
After condensation and oil – water separation, get crude oil.
Further refine the crude oil to obtain high – quality one.
