Detailed Description

Flos Genkwa usually has 3-7 flowers clustered on a short flower axis, with 1-2 bracts at the base, which often fall off to form a single flower. The single flower is club-shaped, often curved, 1-1.7cm long, and about 1.5mm in diameter; the surface of the perianth tube is light purple or gray-green and densely covered with short soft hairs, with 4 lobes at the tip, and the lobes are light purple or yellow-brown. It is soft, has a slight smell, and tastes sweet and slightly spicy.
