Introduction

Peppermint Oil , also called crude mint oil, is a volatile oil obtained by steam – distilling fresh stems and leaves of Mentha plants in the Lamiaceae family.
Main components: Include menthol, menthone, isomenthone, etc. Menthol content is high, usually about 50% – 80%.
It also contains small amounts of other terpenoids like limonene and phellandrene.
